Organize a Hula hoop contest in your neighborhood.- Camp out under the stars in your own backyard.
- Craft a makeshift tent from old bed sheets, or just use sleeping bags!
- Organize a neighborhood Olympics with events such as a water balloon toss, three-legged race, Tug O’ War, or maybe even a jump rope competition.
- Visit a local stable to learn about horses. See if you can bring carrot sticks or rolled oats to feed them or even learn to ride.
- Hang an old sheet on a clothes line, then fill spray bottles with a mixture of tempera paint and water. Spray away for a unique, colorful masterpiece!
- Make ice pops with 100% fruit juice.
- Turn your garage into a neighborhood theater and put on a play.
- Take a trip to the beach.
